Pushback 16
Sometimes it can be difficult to find a lot of stories about pushback. That doesn't mean it's not happening; it just means that I haven't found a story from someone else. Down in the Legal section, I try to summarize some of the court happenings. This weekend, I anticipate there will be protests at Tesla dealerships and for Not My President Day. On Tuesday, RFK Jr. will be "welcomed" to his new offices by a large contingent of people who believe in science. HERE are a few of the dozens of actions being planned.

Legal
- In the PFLAG v. Trump case regarding the EOs on gender affirming care, the judge has issued a two week TRO.
- The OMB order freezing all agency spending has been enjoined and the judge in that case "granted Plaintiffs’ motion to enforce the temporary restraining order. Judge McConnell noted the Plaintiff States presented evidence suggesting that Defendants “have continued to improperly freeze federal funds and refused to resume disbursement of appropriated federal funds” (citing three exhibits). Judge McConnell emphasized that this is a violation of the TRO and ordered Defendants to immediately restore frozen funding." (From Litigation Tracker). The First Circuit also dismissed an appeal by the defendants in that case (but it was voluntary).
- Josh Shapiro, governor of PA, has sued for funds owed to PA.
