After the cavalcade of legal updates yesterday, it was mostly quiet in the courts for the Trump administration. Two pieces of news that I didn't link to earlier: Judge Dale Ho appointed outside counsel in the criminal case against Eric Adams to advocate for the public interest; and TRO-reinstated Special Counsel for the OPM Hampton Dellinger has stayed the termination of six probationary employees so that the Merit Service Protection Board can review whether the dismissals were illegal. This is important because probationary employees do not typically have appeal rights when they lose their jobs unless their termination was illegal. This may have a huge impact on the recent mass terminations of probationary employees.
