Pushback 47

Another short one today because I am mostly (and blessedly) offline this week. Today's really bad news is that Trump is trying to cancel collective bargaining agreements that cover federal workers. Federal workers can't strike, so keep an eye on how the AFL-CIO responds. So far, they've issued this statement (AFL-CIO President on Federal Collective Bargaining Executive Order: “Very Definition of Union-Busting”), but now would be a good time for them to call for a general strike if Trump does X (e.g., comes for private CBAs or unionized companies).

The topics are listed according to the type of action and actor as described in this post. "Democrats" are elected officials, government agencies, unions, and non-profits. "Grassroots" are individuals, political organizing groups, and informal groups. "Disloyal Opposition" are Republicans, conservatives, business interests, and other interests more typically aligned with the GOP agenda.
