Hi folks. I started this newsletter because the news was so unrelentingly terrible that it seemed like Trump had not just won the Presidency, but also that he'd ascended to the throne. But once you start looking for evidence that people aren't going to take this bullshit sitting down, it's everywhere. There were protests all over the place. Not just LA and DC, but also Texas and Arkansas. Links below and I'm sure this only scratches the surface.

Indivisible/Working Families Party/MoveOn are organizing actions this week, including visits to Senate state offices to lobby against confirming Russell Vought and a protest at the Treasury building in DC on Tuesday at 5:00 p.m.

Still trying to find out more information about the February 5 protests at state capitols. It seems like Anonymous may be the organizers. While it's tempting to show up and speak out, without clear organization (like legal and medical observers), protests can invite violent counter-protesters, so it's worth figuring out if its legitimate. s
