Hopefully it's just the beginning of the leadership we will need in person in DC to slow the wheels of Trump's off-the-rails train. Call your senators! If you are represented by a Democrat, let them know they should take all measures to oppose Trump nominees, but especially Russell Vought. If you are represented by a Republican, tell them to vote against Russell Vought and to stop the funding freeze.

Immigration:
If you see ICE agents/enforcement activity, it's important to note key details to avoid spreading fear. Practice SALUTE: note Size, Activity, Location, Unit, Time, Equipment. Example: "2 ICE agents in an SUV are harassing day laborers near the Home Depot of W 17th St at 3:00 with rifles and radios." Then communicate with your local rapid response network, which you can find by searching for Immigrant Rapid Response Network.
