Today I was listening to a popular politics podcast and the hosts were running through the laundry list of horribles, gnashing their teeth and rending their garments over Elon's coup crew and bemoaning "Trump's America." One complaint they had was that "Democracy doesn't make good TV" and that's why people prefer Trump's reality show to good governance. One reaction I had was, Don't you own a media company? You can program media coverage that captures the drama, the conflict, dare I say The Pushback?
Unfortunately, podcasts are unilateral and I don't feel like starting one, so until someone else starts providing comprehensive coverage of the challenges to Trump and his goons, I'll be over here aggregating the few news sources that report on the people and organizations pushing back. Please share this with the people in your life who might appreciate this view of the news.

Tomorrow, the 50501 movement is planning protests at every state capital. Due to the uncertain provenance of these protests, the lack of message, purpose, and call to action (as well as a pre-existing lunch commitment), I am not going to Sacramento. My co-conspirator on this newsletter is going to check it out and let us know how it goes and I'll share other protests as they come across the transom.
