Pushback 72

In honor of Mother's Day, spend a moment remembering the bravery of the Mothers of the Disappeared or the Mothers of Plaza de Mayo, who led the resistance against the military dictatorship of Jorge Rafael Videla and worked to hold Argentina accountable for the disappearances and deaths of their children and others. Several of the leaders of their movement were also disappeared and killed. One tiny blessing is that their efforts mean that Trump's efforts to disappear people is being met with swifter and more widespread opposition, and we have a common language for this cruel and terrible mistreatment of people.
