Pushback Women's Day

Thirty years ago, on a cold and overcast day in Chicago, I convinced my then-roommate, now-husband, to head downtown for the International Women's Day march and rally. He was promptly assigned to pull a wagon with a speaker on it at the end of the march crowd, behind a banner that said Men For Feminism. It's been a part of our lore ever since. Happy International Women's Day to all the women and the men for feminism!
The number, size, and intensity of the protests against Trump and Musk are all increasing, as are their threats to our First Amendment rights to hold those protests. Ignore the bluster; get out there and make sure your voice is heard.
Note: a few of the articles below refer to direct action which has escalated beyond non-violent protest and civil disobedience. I don't include it here to condone it or promote it. It does represent the views of the actors taking the actions, and they are clearly directed against Trump (and other leaders), which is the point of this newsletter. In my view, escalation is likely to continue unless elected leaders start showing courage. People take matters into their own hands when they no longer believe the system will act on their behalf, and that's what is happening here.
The topics are in alphabetical order. This is a crowd-sourced effort, so if you come across a news item or call to action that you think we should include, please complete this form. Thank you to everyone who has contributed so far. Some links will require subscriptions.
